You have been blessed by a dragon, gaining a portion of its power and wisdom. This blessing manifests as both physical and magical enhancements, reflecting the nature of the dragon that granted the boon. The Dragon Blessed feat provides significant abilities that can be used to protect, heal, or enhance your capabilities in various situations.
Benefits:
-
Draconic Resilience:
- Your hit point maximum increases by 10, and you gain resistance to a damage type based on the type of dragon that blessed you. For a brass dragon blessing, this would grant resistance to fire damage.
-
Draconic Knowledge:
- You gain proficiency in the Arcana skill. If you are already proficient, you can add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with it.
-
Breath of the Dragon:
- As an action, you can exhale destructive energy in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier), taking 4d6 damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. The damage type matches the dragon's breath weapon (fire for a brass dragon). Once you use this ability, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
-
Draconic Healing:
- You can channel the dragon’s healing power to mend wounds. As an action, you can touch a creature and restore a number of hit points equal to 1d8 + your proficiency bonus. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
-
Draconic Presence:
- You can channel the awe-inspiring presence of your dragon patron. As a bonus action, you can manifest an aura of fear or majesty in a 10-foot radius around you for 1 minute. Choose one of the following effects when you activate this feature:
- Fear: Each creature of your choice within the aura must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or become frightened of you for 1 minute. A frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
- Majesty: Each creature of your choice within the aura has advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened, and gains temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) at the start of each of its turns.
Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
