Boon of Tactical Thorns

While others focus on strength, you focus on your mind to solve problems that many travelers are called for. You know more than anyone that the thorns that hurt the most are the ones planted by careful planning and cunning strategy, leaving many dumbfounded and angered at being outsmarted. These plans don't come right away to you though, but when they do, you can say to yourself or allies "I have an idea!" and the power of the Tactical Thorns begins to take shape.

Whenever you make a skill check while wildshaped after saying "I have an Idea!" (verbally or telepathically), you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10. If it's an intelligence based skill check, you can use your wisdom modifier instead of your intelligence modifier.

If you are in combat, you begin formulating a plan. The pieces of the plan start coming together anytime you are dealt damage or heal others from damage. For every 10 damage dealt to you, or any 10 healing you do to allies within 60ft of you, you gain 1 Inspiration charge up to a maximum of your level + boons. When you say "I have an idea!" (verbally or telepathically) you can add inspiration charges to skill checks needed for the plan, before or after the roll, in order to pass. Each Inspiration charge spent is a +1 bonus to the skill check. When a hostile creature you can see within 30 feet of you makes a skill check, you can use your reaction to subtract your wisdom modifier from the roll, sacrificing 2 Inspiration charges. All charges gained are reduced to 0 when initiative ends.
