Intended for fighters, give them this feat for free at level 5 at your DMs discretion. (Or take it as an actual feat if your DM says as such)
You gain quite a few skills to use outside of combat to assist allies or yourself. These have charges equal to your proficiency modifier and are drawn from separate charge pools, i.e. you can use each skill up to times at level 18 when your proficiency bonus is at +6. So you can use each up to 6 times per long rest.
(these will be in your chart under "actions" and "other")
Recharge all 4 skills fully on a long rest, and you regain 2 uses of each on a short rest.
-
- Field Medic: Outside of combat you can heal allies a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier (2 minimum)
Roll a medicine check, and every point over 10 heals your ally for 1 point. If you have a +3, and roll a 15, your ally will get healed for 8 hp. -
- Motivating Speech: Outside of combat you can inspire allies a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier (2 minimum)
this will add your proficiency modifier to their skill check. This can be done as a reaction. -
- Observant: Outside of combat you can increase your (or an ally's) roll on a perception, investigation, or insight check a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier (2 minimum)
The bonus to your roll is + your proficiency modifier and you can expend a charge to instead re roll. -
- Maneuvering Master: Outside or inside of combat you have charges equal to your proficiency modifier (2 minimum), you can expend one of these charges to use a specified action as a bonus action. This ONLY works with shove, dash, disengage, help, and hide. You cannot attack or grapple or anything not stated prior with these. But you can use this on an ally or yourself.
