Fate's Chosen Image
Prerequisite: Cleric Class, Paladin Class, Acolyte Background, or Lucky Feat

Whether it be by the divine favour of a God, or simply luck, it’s as though fate itself is on your side.

You gain 3 fate points. After each long rest, you gain an additional 2, to a maximum of 5. Whenever you make an action that is particularly noteworthy within the eyes of fate, by the DM’s discretion, you may gain an additional point of fate. Again, the total cannot exceed 5.

-When you fail a roll, for any reason, you may spend 1 point of fate. You roll a D20. On a roll of 11 or higher, your initial roll is counted as if it were a natural 19. On a roll of 10 or lower, your initial roll is counted as if it were a natural 1.

-If your health were to fall below 1, you may expend 3 fate points in order to make a Con save, with the DC being equal to 10+Con Modifier.  Succeeding in the throw causes your hp to be set at 1, ignoring excess damage for that attack. Any damage from extra attacks proceeds as normal. Failing the save has you fall to death saves as you would have without using this feature.

-At any time you would roll, you may spend 1 fate dice, and roll 1d6. The DM (your ruler of fate) picks either odds or evens, or a number of 1-6. If the DM picked odds or evens, rolling that category of number given gives your roll advantage, not rolling it gives your roll disadvantage. If your DM picked a particular number, rolling that number gives your roll advantage. Not rolling that number has no effect.

-Each time you utilise a feature of this feat, you may spend a number of fate dice up to your current total in order to give your rolls a bonus equal to the amount spent, i.e. spending 2 fate dice would give a +2, spending 3 would give +3
