Luck

You've been blessed (or cursed) with an uncanny ability to bend fate to your will. Perhaps it's a lucky charm, a premonition, or simply a knack for being in the right place at the right time.

Benefit: You gain a pool of luck points equal to 5 + your proficiency bonus. You can spend these points when you make an ability check, saving throw, or attack roll. Spend as many points as you like, and add that number to the total of the roll. Once you use a luck point, it's gone until you level up, or spend a hit die.

Example: You're trying to disarm a trap. You roll a Dexterity check of 12, and the DC is 15. You decide to spend 3 luck points, adding them to your roll. Your total is now 15, allowing you to succeed.

Flavor: You might describe your lucky moments as a sudden burst of adrenaline, a lucky guess, or divine intervention.
