This a role play feature and you must select Two Weapon Fighting style.
If you change fighting style you still retain the Ambidextrous I feat.
Increase your Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
You can also write, draw, and use tools with both hands. When using tools you are proficient with you can roll with Advantage e.g. Thieves' Tools.
You gain Advantage when doing sleight of hand
- You gain a +1 bonus to AC while you are wielding a separate melee weapon in each hand.
- You can use two-weapon fighting even when the one-handed melee weapons you are wielding aren't light.
- You can draw or stow two one-handed weapons when you would normally be able to draw or stow only one.
To the DM/GM’s digression, this can also apply to races with prehensile feet.
