Prerequisite: The character must have proficiency in spellcasting and quick reflexes to react to spells or magical energy attacks. Prerequisite Condition: Ability to cast at least one spell, Wisdom or Intelligence 15 or higher
When targeted by a spell or energy-based attack, you can use your reaction to attempt a Full Counter. This ability reflects the spell or energy back at the caster, with increased potency.
- Benefit Description: This feat allows you to reflect spell or magical energy attacks back at the caster, using their power against them.
- Benefit Effect:
- As a reaction, when a creature you can see casts a spell that targets only you, you can use your reaction to attempt a Full Counter.
- Make a Dexterity saving throw with a DC equal to 10 + the spell's level. If you succeed, the spell's effect is negated, and the caster takes damage equal to the spell's level plus an additional 1d6. The extra damage increases by 1d6 at levels 5, 11, and 17 (total of 4d6 at level 17).
- If you fail the saving throw, the Full Counter fails, and you take the full effect of the spell.
- Special: You can use Full Counter (Spell/Energy) once per round. This ability cannot reflect spells that target an area or multiple creatures.
- Normal: Without this feat, you cannot reflect spells or magical energy attacks back at their source.
