When you bring down an enemy, you do so in the most gruesome way possible, in order to put the fear of death into your remaining foes. Once per combat encounter, when you bring an enemy creature of CR 1/4 or higher to 0 hit points with a melee attack, you can roll an intimidation check against the surrounding enemies within 30 feet of you. The creatures must make a wisdom saving throw or suffer one of the following effects:

0 If the creature fails the saving throw by more than 5, the creature is frightened of you. At the start of a frightened creatures' turn, it can attempt a (DC 10) Wisdom Saving Throw to end the frightened condition.

0 If the creature fails the saving throw by 5 or less, the creature is provoked into avenging its fallen comrade. On the creatures' next turn, they are forced to only attack you for that turn.

Creatures that have a Wisdom score of 15 or higher, make their initial Wisdom Saving Throw with advantage to avoid this effect.

At the DM's discretion, +2 or advantage to elaborate roleplay for the intimidation check made by the player.
