You were afflicted by the Blighted Scourge, but you resisted its corrupting influence. While most succumb to the blight and transform into mindless servants of the Hive, you fought it off, and in doing so, your body’s potential was unlocked. This experience has left a permanent mark, giving you newfound strength. However, this boon only occurs once, as it represents your body's singular adaptation to the blight's corruption.
- Ability Score Increase: You can increase one ability score of your choice by 1, to a maximum of 20.

Living on the Isle: If your character has lived on the Amethyst Isle prior to the story, roll a d100. On a result of 50 or higher, you gain this feat as part of your character’s backstory.

New Arrivals (First Infection): If your character arrived on the Isle during a Weakening of the Veil and becomes infected by the Blighted Scourge for the first time, they must make a saving throw (DC determined by the attack or event that caused the infection). On a failure, roll a d4 to determine the level of exhaustion:
- 1: You are infected but do not gain any levels of exhaustion.
- 2: You gain +1 level of exhaustion.
- 3: You gain +2 levels of exhaustion.
- 4: You gain +4 levels of exhaustion.
