Prerequisite: Giant Barbarian, ability to Rage
Description:
When you choose to enter Berserker Rage, you channel the primal fury of the giants, losing all restraint and becoming an unstoppable force on the battlefield. This feat pushes you beyond the limits of a typical rage, consuming your entire reservoir of rage energy in a cataclysmic explosion of power.
Activation:
- You can activate Berserker Rage by using all of your available uses of Rage at once. You cannot enter Berserker Rage if you do not have all your Rage uses available.
Effects of Berserker Rage:
- Size Increase: When you activate Berserker Rage, your size increases to Huge. Your equipment grows to match your new size.
- Enhanced Critical Range: Your critical hit range expands to 18-20.
- Mandatory Recklessness: You are always considered to be attacking recklessly, granting you advantage on all melee weapon attack rolls, but attack rolls against you also have advantage.
- Persistent Rage: Your rage does not end early unless you fall unconscious, you cannot choose to end it.
- Attribute Changes: Your Strength, Constitution, and Dexterity scores each increase by 5. However, your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores drop to 1. You cannot understand speech, read, or speak coherently (only gibberish).
- Enhanced Resistances and Vulnerability:
- You take only one-quarter damage from bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
- You gain resistance to all other forms of damage except psychic.
- You gain vulnerability to psychic damage.
- Uncontrolled Aggression: You must attack the nearest creature each turn, regardless of whether it is friend or foe. You are compelled to use your most powerful attacks and abilities to deal the maximum amount of damage possible.
- Berserker Rage lasts for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated.
- After Berserker Rage ends, you suffer one level of exhaustion and cannot regain uses of Rage until you finish a long rest.
