versatile champ
*Prerequisite:* Proficiency with at least one weapon and one armor type.
You have honed your skills to be adept in both combat and defense. You gain the following benefits:
- **Ability Score Increase:** Increase one ability score of your choice by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- **Combat Prowess:** You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls with weapons you are proficient with.
- **Defensive Stance:** You gain a +1 bonus to your Armor Class when wearing armor or using a shield.
- **Versatile Training:** You gain proficiency in one saving throw of your choice (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma). If you are already proficient in that saving throw, you instead gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.
**Active Ability:**
You can use your action to activate the following abilities for 1 minute (or until you use your action to deactivate them). You can use this feature once per long rest:
- **Flight:** You gain a flying speed of 30 feet. At 10th level, your flying speed increases to 45 feet.
- **Radiant Burst:** As a bonus action, you can unleash a powerful burst of radiant energy. Make a ranged spell attack against a creature within 60 feet of you. On a hit, the target takes 5d6 radiant damage and is illuminated by a bright light, shedding bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. The light lasts until the end of your next turn. At 10th level, the damage increases to 6d6, and the illumination extends to a 20-foot radius of bright light and an additional 20 feet of dim light.
- **Defensive Aura:** You are surrounded by a protective aura. You gain resistance to one damage type of your choice (acid, cold, fire, lightning, necrotic, poison, psychic, radiant, or thunder). Additionally, any creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of you takes 1d6 radiant damage. At 10th level, the damage increases to 2d6 radiant damage, and the aura extends to 15 feet.
