Blessing of Silvanus

This feat is a blessing from Silvanus, the god of nature, balance, and the wild. The follower's heart is infused with the essence of an ancient, powerful tree, granting them immunity to poison and disease. Their lifespan is greatly extended, and they gain the ability to root themselves to the earth, drawing upon the strength of the land to rejuvenate their spirit and body.

Effect:

• Immune to Poison and Disease
• Extended Lifespan. The follower ages very slowly with their appearance and vitality reflecting the agelessness of the great trees.
• Rooting Ability. Once per long rest, the follower can root themselves to the earth, merging their essence with the soil. While rooted, they gain several benefits:
  • Healing: They regenerate health at an accelerated rate, as the earth nourishes and restores them. Each round they can roll one hit die plus constitution.
  • Fortification: They become nearly immovable, gaining resistance to all damage and immunity to effects that would forcibly move them.
  • Insight: While rooted, the follower can sense disturbances in the natural world, gaining a heightened awareness of their surroundings and possibly even glimpses of distant events or threats.
• Rejuvenation. If the follower is ever mortally wounded, their Evergreen Heart might allow them to e revived once, causing them to enter a deep, tree-like hibernation state. After a day or two, they would awaken fully healed, having drawn life from the earth itself.
