Before making a fishing check, you may expand this technique, allowing you to make multiple fishing checks in one attempt. Before the attempt has resulted, make a number of fishing checks determined by your rank in this technique. Every time you succeed against the catch DC, add 1 success to the total result. Every time you do not succeed against the catch DC, remove 1 success from the total result. After you roll all your checks, this attempt results in a number of successes equal to the total result. If you did not yield a minimum of 1 success this attempt, then it counts as a failed attempt. 

Novice: 2 fishing checks

Adept: 3 fishing checks

Expert: 4 fishing checks.
