Blind Rage / Fight Or Flight Image

Flaw: This is a flaw feat, meaning there is little to no upside, and can be accessed any level or point in time with your DM's permission.

Something you have seen or done has triggered an immense emotional response, be that grief, fear, or pure, unfiltered, rage. Make a DC 16 Wisdom Saving Throw, on a success, you become stunned for two turns, on a failure, you enter a Blind Rage.

Blind Rage:

  • Your Strength or Dexterity temporarily increase by 2, and your Wisdom, Intelligence, and Charisma temporarily decrease by 1.
  • You are unable to discern the difference between friend and foe.
  • Every action you take make must be a meele attack.
  • You cannot concentrate on spells, and immediately lose any concentration you previously had.
  • Your attack rolls have disadvantage, but your damage rolls have advantage.
  • You are compelled to either attack or flee from the object(s) of your rage.
  • You have advantage against being charmed, but disadvantage against being frightened.
  • Your Movement Speed is increased by 10 ft.

For every turn of Blind Rage, make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw, on a success, Blind Rage ends. Alternatively, a companion canuse an action to attempt a DC 25 persuasion check in an attempt to calm you down (this is entirely optional, do whatever you want, be free).

Blind Rage ends when the threat/object(s) or rage/situation is neutralized. Stats are returned to normal, and you gain one point of Exhaustion.

(Note: This feat can be fully named or repurposed to better suit your character, or to work as an allegory for PTSD or other mental illness, as it was modeled after my own)
