Vampire Rune -- SELFISHNESS Image
Prerequisite: Requires the Rune Knight Fighter subclass
 

The number of runes you know and can inscribe onto an object increases by one.

This rune is the word for 'life steal'. While wearing or carrying an object inscribed with this rune in dim light or darkness, you are immune to fall damage. You also have advantage on athletics checks in dim light or darkness.

When you successfully grapple a creature, you make invoke this rune. When you do, you do 3d6 necrotic damage to the grappled creature, and gain the same amount of life. For the next minute, you may use your bonus action to again syphon life from a grappled creature. Once you invoke this rune, you cannot do so until the next sunrise.

CURSED. This rune is cursed. In direct sunlight, an aura of iridescent glitter forms around you. During this time you have disadvantage on intimidation checks.
