You've learned to take advantage of the swiftness of a single weapon using its deftness to better strike and guard yourself. While you are wielding a one-handed melee weapon and not wielding another weapon or shield, you gain the following benefits:
- If you take the Attack action on your turn and hit, you can use a bonus action to assume a parrying stance, provided you have the weapon in hand. Doing so grants a +2 bonus to your AC until the start of your next turn or until you're not holding the weapon.
- Before you make a melee attack with a one-handed melee weapon that you are proficient with, you can choose to take a -5 penalty to the attack roll. If the attack hits, you add +10 to the attack's damage.
