Prerequisite: Requires 3 levels of Monk, Requires a Dexterity score of 18 or higher
Be it from an ancient master atop the highest peak in the realm, or a talented back alley boxer with a chip on their shoulder, the martial training you've undergone was intense and forged you into a warrior of a higher caliber. You gain the following benefits:
- You gain additional ki/focus points equal to your Wisdom modifier. These will appear in a separate pool in your character sheet but will reset as normal.
- You may use your Dexterity score instead of Strength to determine jump height and distance, and may use Dexterity (Acrobatics) to initiate a grapple.
In addition, you gain the following Ascetic Maneuvers:
- Bob and Weave: When a creature makes one or more melee attacks against you on its turn, you can expend a ki/focus point and make a single unarmed strike for each melee attack the creature missed as a reaction. Stunning strike cannot be applied to these attacks.
- Flow State. You can take the Dash, Disengage, or Dodge actions as a bonus action without expending a ki/focus point a number of times equal to 1 + your proficiency bonus per short rest. When you do so, you may also make an unarmed strike as part of this bonus action.
