When you gain this feat, choose one of the following damage types: acid, poison, cold, fire, lightning or thunder. You gain the benefits below based on your selection.

  • When you deal damage with a spell, weapon or ability dealing the damage type you chose with from this feat, you ignore resistance to damage of the chosen type. In addition, when you roll damage for a spell you cast or an ability used that deals damage of that type, you can treat any 1 on a damage die as a 2.

  • Pyrophile (Fire) - When you make a saving throw to reduce or avoid fire damage, you may choose to willingly fail this save before you roll. If you take at least twice your level in fire damage as a result, you gain the benefits of bless for one minute, and temporary hit points equal to half the fire damage you took.

  • Cruel Cold (Cold) - When you make a saving throw to reduce or avoid cold damage, you may choose to willingly fail this save before you roll. If you would take at least twice your level in cold damage as a result, you may use your reaction to instead take no damage and become petrified until the start of your turn. When the petrified condition ends, your next spell or attack deals an additional amount of cold damage equal to your level.

  • Strike Twice (Lightning) - When you make a saving throw to reduce or avoid lighting damage, you may choose to willingly fail this save before you roll. If you take at least twice your level in lightning damage as a result, you may expend your reaction to cast a spell of 6th level or lower that you have known or prepared that deals lighting damage.

  • Howling (Thunder) - When you make a saving throw to reduce or avoid thunder damage, you may choose to willingly fail this save before you roll. If you would take at least twice your level in thunder damage as a result, then you may instead choose to be launched back a number of feet equal to 10 times your proficiency bonus and gain the benefits of zephyr strike

  • Melting Pot (Acid) - When you make a saving throw to reduce or avoid acid damage, you may choose to willingly fail this save before you roll. If you take at least twice your level in acid damage as a result, then a number of attacks made equal to your proficiency bonus that deal acid damage now critically hit on a roll of 19 or 20.

  • Filthy Mind (Poison) - When you make a saving throw to reduce or avoid poison damage, you may choose to willingly fail this save before you roll. If you take at least twice your level in poison damage as a result, then the next time you deal poison damage to a creature, it falls under the effects of bane for one minute and you gain temporary hit points equal to half the amount of poison damage you dealt.
