Becoming the Herald of Blood is an apocalyptic mantle, bestowed upon those that bridge the power of mortal with that of supreme blood magic. The power to wield blood as a weapon, and to summon dread from the cosmos of the Shadowfell courses through your veins. Those branded by this title spread devastation wherever they go, bending the eldritch forces of blood magic and malevolent powers to their will, becoming avatars of their vampiric lord in the mortal realm.

Tides of Blood. You gain the ability to manipulate the blood of living creatures within a 60-foot radius. As an action, you can cause the blood of any creature you can see to boil, forcing them to make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier). On a failed save, a creature takes 6d8 necrotic damage and is stunned until the start of your next turn. On a successful save, they take half that damage and are not stunned. You may use this ability a number of times per long rest equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).

Sanguine Rebirth. Once per long rest, whenever you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can choose to explode into a wave of blood. Creatures within a 30-foot radius take 8d6 necrotic damage (DC Dexterity saving throw, DC = 8 + proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier, half damage on success). You immediately reappear 10 feet away in an unoccupied space, with hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your level + your Con modifier.

Red Harvest. When you slay a creature with a hit point maximum equal to or greater than half of yours, you can harvest their remaining life essence. As a bonus action after the kill, you regain hit points equal to 3d10 + your Charisma modifier.

Avatar of the Blood God. You gain the blessed Aura of you blood deity or vampire patron. You gain the following benefits:  You have immunity to the charmed condition. You have resistance to necrotic damage. At the start of each of your turns, you regain 15 hit points, but only during combat.
