Prerequisite: Requires a strength score of 19 or higher Requires you to have the dual wielding feat
You have honed your dual welding talents to the peak of what is physically possible. You are able to dual wield 2 handed weapons in 1 hand but the damage die decreases. E.g [roll]1d12[/roll] turns into [roll]1d10[/roll] on a hit

Posted Apr 23, 2019The wording required to make this work is too wonky, and it opens up weird things like dual wielding reach weapons with large damage dice (technically you could dual wield whips, but 1d4 per attack is much more balanced than a possible 1d10 with double lances) .
I think it'd be better to just make a feat that allows versatile weapons that are wielded one handed to deal their versatile damage die on attacks. That opens it up so that it is useful to those who don't dual wield but want a damage boost that run sword and board, and doesn't need to incorporate new mechanics while resulting in a similar effect. Plus being able to dual wield something like a battleaxe or tridents makes a lot more sense than being able to dual wield a Greataxe or a Lance, and would be possible if you took this recommended redesign and Dual Wielder. Finally this wouldn't really need to be a STR 19 thing, since you can wield versatile weapons in one hand already but deal a little less damage, so i'd make it improve strength by 1 along with the benefit I suggested.
