
The Champion of the Dragon King is a charismatic force capable of bending the willpower of both mortals and creatures alike. Chosen by one of the ancient and revered Dragon Kings, these individuals have gained exceptional influence, sly diplomacy, and an unmatched presence that commands fear and awe. They leverage this connection in social settings both to fortify their own position and to offer favorable boons to the draconic powers they serve.
Imperial Command. Your presence manifests the authority of ancient dragons. You gain proficiency with the Intimidation skill if you do not have it already. If you are already proficient, your proficiency bonus for Intimidation is doubled, but only when interacting with creatures that can speak Draconic or are associated with dragons in some capacity, such as drakes, kobolds, or dragon cultists.
Voice of the Dragon King. Once per long rest, you can invoke the terrifying aura of the Dragon King during a conversation or negotiation. As an action, you can force all humanoids of your choice within 60 feet of you to make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, they become Frightened of you for 1 minute. Creatures under the Frightened condition imposed by this ability have disadvantage on all Charisma-saving throws or ability checks while within line of sight of you. They may make a Wisdom saving throw at the end of each of their turns to end the effect early.
