Prerequisite: Requires a Strenght score of 13 or higher. Requires proficiency in bows/archery. Requires a Dexterity score of 13 or higher.
You are an expert in archery.
- Being at less than 1,5 m from an hostile creature does not give you a disadvantage on attack throws.
- If your bow is a "standard" bow, and if you have advantage on your attack, you gain as 1 bonus action 1 extra range attack with that bow on your turn.
- You can use bows tailored to take advantage of your Strenght. You can add your strenght bonus to the damage roll (to the extend of what the bows allows). You can't shoot faster with that bow if you have advantage.
- NB: Recurve composite bows have to be handled as "longbows" for the range and damage they cause

Posted Oct 25, 2019It is based on the feat "crossbow expert", which allows to:
- avoid disadvantage on short range (less than 1,5 m) attack
- grants you more attacks as you ignore reloading time
- grants you extra attack with a hand crossbow if you use a bonus action and have a single hand weapon in your main hand
Using prerequiste in two ability scores makes it not easy to get, and reflects the fact that (war)archery is a matter of both Dexterity and Strenght.
