You tap into the full power of the chaotic power within you, becoming a living embodiment of raw, untamed elemental power.
Once per long rest, as a bonus action, you can ascend into The Arcane Tempest form for 10 minute.
During this transformation, you gain the following benefits:
Storm Body
- You become immune to lightning and thunder damage.
- You gain a flying speed of 60 feet, and you can hover.
- You are resistant to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, as your form is partially incorporeal, surrounded by storm energy.
Chaotic Elemental Wrath
Once per turn, when you cast a spell that deals lightning or thunder damage, you can add an additional 4d10 lightning or thunder damage (your choice) to one target of the spell.
Maelstrom’s Vengeance
As an action, you can unleash a devastating storm of chaotic energy in a 30-foot radius centered on you. Each creature of your choice within this radius must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = your spell save DC). On a failed save, a creature takes 10d10 lightning or thunder damage (your choice) and is stunned until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and isn’t stunned. Once you use this ability, you cannot do so again until you finish your transformation.
Fury of the Storm
Once during your transformation, when you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can instead drop to 1 hit point and release a surge of chaotic energy. All creatures within 15 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = your spell save DC) or take 5d10 lightning or thunder damage (your choice).
At the end of the transformation, you gain two levels of exhaustion, as the elemental forces you channeled leave your body drained and overwhelmed.
