Prerequisite: Proficiency with whips
You have mastered the art of using whips. You gain the following benefits:
- As an action, you can attempt to grapple a creature using your whip within its range. You must make a Dexterity check contested by its Dexterity (Acrobatics) or Strength (Athletics). While you have a creature grappled this way, you cannot use your whip, but as usual, you can release them as at any time as a free action. Additionally, you may move them to a point up to 10 feet away within range as a Bonus action on your turn.
- You may add your proficiency modifier to the damage roll of your whip.
- As an action, you may try to trip an enemy with your whip. Choose a target within range. You must make an attack roll against a target. If it hits, you may instead choose to make them land prone instead. You can use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
