You've spent your life being tempered and trained by the wild. You gain proficiency in the Nature, Survival, and Animal Handling skills. Also, you have advantage on checks made to track or hunt, and perception checks that are made using smell or hearing. You also have access to the pack tactics skill, and can attempt to hide when obscured by natural phenomena.
