You’ve been infected with Lycanthropy. Luckily you’ve trained as a druid and are used to shifting into more bestial forms. Due to this you have an easier time controlling your new nature, especially outside of the presence of the full moon. However, as with trying to tame any force of nature, there is risk. The beast within is clawing its way out and if you are not careful you may find yourself hunting friend and foe alike.
Latent Lycan: Even while not transformed the effects of lycanthropy are visible. Your unarmed attacks now deal 1d6 + your Strength modifier slashing damage. You also have a bite attack that deals 1d4 + your Strength modifier piercing damage. Any creature you bite must succeed a constitution saving throw equal to 8 + your CON + your proficiency bonus or contract the same form of lycanthropy as you.
Savage Wild Shape: By embracing your curse, you are able to empower and adapt your wild shapes with more feral attacks that can turn the tide in your favor so long as you don’t forget yourself in the process. For any attacks with your wild shaped form’s natural weapons (claw, bite, tail, etc.) you may use your attack bonus as well as your damage bonus if they are higher than the beast. You may also make an off handed natural attack as a bonus action.
Hybrid Anatomy: Rather than completely transforming your equipment when you wild shape, your new mailability allows you to retain some protection while shifted. When wild shaped you may use your AC rather than the beast’s if it is higher.
Divided Mind: Due to the two natures fighting for control within you, those trying to access and control your mind have difficulty attacking your psyche unless they too suffer from a similar affliction. While wild shaped you gain resistance to psychic damage as well as advantage on saving throws to be charmed or frightened by non-lycan enemies.
Call of the Wild Hunt: While it is easier for you to control your shifting, the beast within still craves to hunt and ravage everything in sight. You can control it for a while, but the longer you remain in a bestial form the more difficult it becomes to not give in to the beast’s desires. While in combat, every time you end your turn while wildshaped you must make a Constitution saving throw or allow the beast to consume you, if only for a moment. The DC to control yourself starts at DC 12 and increases by 1 every round you stay wildshaped. Each time you fail a constitution saving throw roll on the Lycanthropy Control table. In addition, you find leaving wild shape while in combat more difficult. In order to return to your natural shape while in combat you must make a Wisdom Saving throw against your Lycanthropy Control DC. On a failed save you are unable to end your wild shape.

Effect |
|
1 |
Your beast form completely takes over your body. You target the nearest random creature to you and attempt to slaughter them. You will continue to attack until you are no longer wild shaped. You may not exit your wild shape until the creature dies or you are forced out of wild shape. |
|
2 |
You briefly lose control of your faculties and use your action to attack a random nearby creature. Each time you deal damage to a friendly creature you may make a wisdom saving throw to end the effect. |
|
3 |
You use your action to let out an ear splitting animalistic howl. All creatures in a 20 ft radius must make a WIS saving throw or be frightened of you until your wild shape ends. If a creature ends its turn in a location where it doesn’t have line of sight to you, the creature can make a Wisdom saving throw. On a successful save, the effect ends for that creature |
|
4 |
Control over your mind becomes more difficult. Your Lycanthropy Control DC increases by 3. |
|
5 |
The beastial part of your mind begins to take hold, clouding your thoughts. Your Int/Wis/Cha scores are replaced by those of your wild shape form. You also lose the ability to concentrate on spells until your wild shape ends. |
|
6 |
You become more animalistic, and lose the benefit of the Hybrid Anatomy trait. |
|
7 |
You briefly lose yourself to the beast's basic instincts. You spend your turn scratching yourself, eating nearby food, or chasing your tail. |
|
8 |
You allow your animalistic nature to intensify and take on a feral visage. Choose a non-lycan creature within 20 ft to make a wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until you end your wild shape or it succeeds on another saving throw at the end of its turn. |
|
9 |
You attack with an unnatural ferocity. Any attacks against non-lycans you make this turn have advantage. |
|
10 |
Your humanity prevails, and the brief glimpse of your animalistic nature intensifies your resolve to control yourself. Your lycanthropy control DC goes down by 1 and you may end your wild shape without making a saving throw until you fail another lycanthropy control check. |
