More importantly, it represents Magic, as well as being a symbol of Lloyd, the God of Magic and Scholars, and in this case, the Patron of Knowledge and Learning. The Mark also glows and alerts the bearer to the presence of magic and mystery, though said glow could be suppressed at will.
- Interconnectedness. In your endless pursuit of knowledge, you observed the similarities and correlations between various topics and fields. For every four trainable proficiencies of each type (tool, weapon, language) that you have at the time of receiving this Mark, and for every four trainable proficiencies that you teach or learn afterwards, you gain an additional proficiency of the same type (Firearms counts as a single proficiency for calculation and learning)
- Harmony. While bearing the mark, it only takes 3 (IRL) Days to teach or Learn a Weapon, Language, or Tool. Checks made to read books or learn something from sources of knowledge are made at advantage. When you come across an unknown tool, weapon, item, or language. You can draw on your myriad of understandings to deduce said unknown subject, gaining an understanding of its nature, functions, and how to use them. You offer up 4 possible tool, weapon, or language proficiencies that may apply. The DM may allow you to use one of the four to figure out the unknown and possibly use it.
- Synergy. With your erudition, you understand the value of contemplation, to think before you act. You have advantage on Intelligence checks when making plans and strategies, conducting investigations, deciphering codes and glyphs, and so on, applying what you know to resolve your current dilemma.
