You have reached an accord with a great and powerful being known simply as, "Jim of Beyond the Vale Insurance."
Beyond the Vale is a premium insurance company the defies the laws of life and death to offers you quality service for a price. Once your have it you can never let it laps!
Insurance Benefits-- All great insurance included benefits Beyond the Vale is no exception.
Repeat resurrection: If you are killed by another being or actions not your own you shall be entitled to resurrection. Your first resurrection shall bring you back to full health, your second shall bring you back with 3/4 your current total health, your third shall bring you back at 1/2 your current total health, your fourth shall bring you back at 1/4 of you current total health. Any resurrections after your fourth shall bring you back with only 1/5 of your total health.
Immunity from soul stealing: If another being regardless of how powerful attempts to steal or take your soul without your permission, Jim shall step in and insta-kill the being regardless of skills, immunities, and/or Items.
Instant first blow kill negation: If you are hit with a attack for the first time from an enemy and are unable to block, evade, deflect, or otherwise limit the damage taken to a survivable level; Jim shall step in and negate the attack. Limited once per battle.
Insurance provided resurrections, attempted cases of soul stealing, and first blow negation are all classified as Incidents and will result in the increase to your permanent total monthly premium.
Insurance Premium: All types of insurance require some form of payment, beyond the Vale is no different. Base in game monthly payments start as low as 1 human sacrifice or 500 gold per month starting on the first new moon of every month.
For every Incident an additional 2 human sacrifices or 1000 gold will be permanently added to your monthly premium.
To pay every months premium one must summon Jim and hand over the living human/s or required gold for this months premium to receive coverage or it will laps.
Rules & Stipulations
1. You may not commit suicide or by failed roll in effect kill yourself. No drinking poison, absorbing curses, or taking lethal damage intentionally.
2. While on sacred or holy ground your insurance is invalid. Once off the ground, the insurance is valid and Jim can assist you again.
3. You may not worship any deity or being of any kind ever once your receive coverage.
4. You are incapable of casting spellings or using blessings that involve the invocation of any deity's.
5. You are incapable of receiving buffs from spells or blessings that involve the invocation of any deity, regardless of who cast them. This doesn't mean you can't be affected/damaged by harmful spells or blessings cast upon you by other players or enemies.
6. You are not allowed to kill, attempt to steal the soul, or sacrifice as a payment for your premium, any other Beyond the Vale Insurance holder.
7. You may not enter any contract that would sell, exchange, or otherwise in effect trade your soul for any goods or services.
8. Failure to fallow the rules or pay your monthly premium in a time manner shall result in the instant death of the insurance holder regardless of skills, saving rolls, items, and they can't be resurrected by anyone or thing except by Jim.
9. If a insurance holder fails to pay their premium and dies, another beyond the vale insurance holder can choose to take on their owed premium. The covering insurance holder must now pay both their premium and the additional lapsed premium of the other insurance holder by the next new moon. If they succeed and pay both premiums the indebted insurance holder is fully resurrected with a new premium set at the base value. If the covering insurance holder fails to cover both premiums they die in accordance with rule 8.
10. If you have any questions/concerns about potential insurance scenarios or need to pay your next month of coverage; to summon Jim/DM you must simply call out "Like a Good Deity, beyond the vail is Here!" Note: while summoned Jim is invisible, intangible and can't be heard or interact with non-insurance holders.
