Unstable Echo: Your Echo has been infused with powerful, chaotic energy, which can both greatly enhance or hinder you. When you summon your Echo, roll a d8 to determine its effect:
|
d8 |
Effect |
|
1 |
Backlash of Pandemonium. The chaotic energy rebounds on you. You take 3d10 psychic damage, and the Echo immediately disappears. |
|
2 |
Distorted Reality. Your Echo becomes unpredictable. For the next minute, at the start of each of your turns, roll a d6: on a roll of 1-3, your Echo takes no action and vanishes until the start of your next turn; on a 4-6, it functions as normal. |
|
3-4 |
Warped Echo. Your Echo emanates a disturbing aura. All creatures within 15 feet (including you) must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the end of their next turn. |
|
5-6 |
Empowered Strike. Your Echo is brimming with chaotic energy. The next attack made through it deals an additional 2d10 force damage. |
|
7 |
Twin Echoes. An additional, identical Echo appears beside your original Echo, mirroring its actions. You can make an extra attack through this second Echo on your turn, but both Echoes vanish at the end of your turn. |
|
8 |
Avatar of Pandemonium. Your Echo becomes a fearsome force, empowering you with the chaotic energy of Pandemonium. For the next minute, you gain advantage on all attacks made through your Echo, and the first attack on each of your turns deals an extra 1d10 psychic damage. However, after the minute ends, you take 3d10 psychic damage as the energy dissipates. |
Chaos Step: Once per short or long rest, you may teleport to your Echo’s location without expending a use of your Unleash Incarnation feature. When you do, you can choose one creature within 15 feet of the Echo; your allies gain advantage on all attack rolls against that creature. However, if either you or an ally misses an attack against the designated target, you take 1d10 psychic damage as chaotic energy pulses through you.
Pandemonium’s Curse: Your Echo is an embodiment of the dissonant forces of Pandemonium, causing the very fabric of reality around it to tremble. All creatures within 15 feet of your Echo have disadvantage on concentration checks. Once per short or long rest, when a creature you can see makes a concentration check, you may use your reaction to force the creature to reroll its concentration check, taking the new result.
