You have gained the favour of the Demogorgon.
At the start of your turn you can choose to call on the Demogorgon to act in your favour.
Once you do so your body will split violently into two, forming two identical copies of yourself. All items, clothing, gold, magic items, weapons and anything carried by the player are also duplicated. All spell slots, racial traits and magical abilites are also copied exactly as they are. For example if you have already expended a 5th level spell slot before you use this feat, both copies will also have a 5th level spell slot expended.
One of your copies may then take their turn as usual following all normal rules. Once their turn is over, the other copy will then immediately take its turn independently of the other.
When both copies have finished their turns, they will both be pulled back together to form one, with the following considerations:
- If there is any distance between the two copies, they will be pulled to the centre and reform there (does not provoke opportunity attacks)
- Any items, spell slots, racial abilities or class abilities that have been used or expended by the copies will all be used when they reform. For example if one copy uses a level 2 spell slot and the other uses a level 4 spell slot, then you will reform having expended both a level 2 and level 4 spell slot.
- Splitting your mind, body and soul into two momentarily could warp your mind. As soon as you reform into 1, make a DC 22 Wisdom saving throw. If successful, you are able to hold onto your sanity and nothing further happens. On a fail, roll 1d10 and suffer the following the condition:
1 - You use your action, and any bonus action related to movement, to take the Dash action. You then use all of your movement. Roll 1d4 for the direction: 1, north; 2, east; 3, south; or 4, west.
2–6 - You do not take any actions or bonus actions on your turn.
7–8 - You cannot move. Instead you take the Attack action (Melee, Ranged or Spell that deals damage) to make an attack against a random creature within range.
9–10 - The target chooses its behavior, but all attack rolls are with disadvantage
You will only get one chance to call on the Demogorgon, and once you do so, this feat is instantly lost and cannot be used again unless the Demogorgon grants you his favour again.
