Your body gets flooded with elemental energy causing the power of the elements to flow through you. This elemental power is not like any normal elemental energy, it takes a drastic toll on your body as your body is reclaimed by the elements.
Elemental Overload causes an element of your choice (fire, lightning, cold, necrotic, radiant, acid, poison, thunder) to flow through you in powerful bursts.
You can use Elemental Overflow to cause a surge of elemental power to rush though you dealing 2d8+xd8 (per level) elemental damage to all enemies within a 10ft radius. Each time you use Elemental Overflow it causes your body to be consumed by the elemental energy and permanently affects your character:
Left arm is consumed by elemental energy: -10% hp +1d4 damage to all attacks
Right arm is consumed by elemental energy: -10% hp additional elemental specific spells
Left leg is consumed by elemental energy: -20% hp critical hit is decreased by -4
Right leg is consumed by elemental energy: -5% hp all enemies are weakened to chosen element. Enemies drop their chosen element's resistance by one stage: Immune becomes resisted (1/2 damage), resisted becomes neutral (1x damage), neutral becomes vulnerable (2x damage), vulnerable becomes endangered (4x)
Torso is consumed by elemental energy: -5% hp Give expertise to one skill
Elemental aura surrounds them: -20% hp +2d4 damage to all attacks
Face is consumed by elemental energy: -20% hp all attacks deal cold damage
Their entire being is consumed by elemental energy and explodes, doubling the damage of Elemental Overflow attack, this final burst kills the user.
*Note: the -90% (total) hp decrease does not affect maximum hp, it only makes it so that the user cannot heal past a certain threshold. Max hp remains unchanged when unconscious Ex: a 100hp character would have 10hp in combat but they still have 100hp (for purpose of death saves)
