Elemental Wanderer

An Elemental Wanderer transforms your connection to your elemental origin, binding your spirit to the plane itself. This profound relationship ensures that death becomes a mere transition back to your elemental homeland, allowing your essence to recover and rejuvenate in its cradle before returning to the mortal realm. The bond also enhances your perception and manipulation of elemental forces, granting you unparalleled control over related magic and phenomena.

• Elemental Rebirth. Upon dying outside of your associated elemental plane, your soul migrates to the equivalent elemental plane instead of the afterlife, where you are fully resurrected 1d10 days later, at the plane location where you first formed your bond. Due to you being bound to this plane, you have disadvantage on death saves while in any other plane besides your elemental plane.
• Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• Elemental Conduit. You can channel elemental energy through your body, enhancing any spell that employs your associated element. The damage of the spell increases by 2d8. You can use this ability an amount of times equal to 1 + your proficiency bonus.
• Essence of Home. When within your elemental plane, you gain a constant bonus of +3 to all saving throws, and your movement speed increases by 15 feet.
• Gatekeeper's Return. The elemental plane acts as a sanctuary. You can, once a week, open a temporary portal to your native elemental plane, allowing passage for you and up to eight companions. This portal lasts for 10 minutes and can be used for quick escapes or strategic retreats.
• You loose a feat to gain this one. (DM's choice) 
• If the banished spell is used on you, you return to your elemental plane. If they are able to focus the whole 1 minute, you are stuck in that elemental plane until you can find a portal back
• You take a -2 to an ability score of your choice.
