Your Second Wind requires no action, and can be used a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus (May be used off your turn and while unconscious).
When you are knocked unconscious but not dead, you only fall prone at the end of the turn, and attacks against you are not an automatic critical hit (but can be rolled naturally).
