Heroic Feat: Legendary Marksman

You gain the following benefits:

• While using a ranged weapon, you double its normal and long range, and your ranged weapon attacks ignore half and three-quarters cover.
• The strength and precision of your shots is unmatched. You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls you make with ranged weapons.
• While you are wielding a ranged weapon you are proficient with, you can use your action to perform a Legendary Shot. Make a ranged weapon attack against a creature within your weapon’s normal range, aiming for the most vital part you can identify. You have a +5 bonus to the attack roll. On a hit, the target takes 8d6 additional damage of your weapon’s type. Legendary Shots ignore resistance to their damage type. Once you use your Legendary Shot, you cannot do so again until you finish a short or long rest. A creature that is reduced to 0 hit points by a Legendary Shot is instantly killed.
