Disease. Glowshard Gout is an affliction caused by a pathogenic crystal that grows rapidly out of an infected creature's bone marrow. If an infected creature dies from the disease, it is reanimated 1d4 days later as a Shardmind.
Hidden. Glowshard Gout cannot be targeted by attacks or harmful actions unless they specifically deal with diseases. If a harmful action is attempted, the infected host suffers any effects instead.
Infect Host. When an injured living creature comes into physical contact with an infected creature Glowshard Gout can attempt to infect the new creature. The creature must make a Constitution saving throw DC 15, becoming infected on a failure. The creature then suffers symptoms described in the Pathogen feature. Glowshard Gout can only infect a new creature once its host is suffering from stage 5 symptoms.
