Fell Leprosy Image

Curse. Fell Leprosy is an affliction of undeath, when an infected creature dies the creature is reanimated as an undead zombie after 1 minute.

Hidden. Fell Leprosy cannot be targeted by attacks or harmful actions unless they specifically deal with diseases. If a harmful action is attempted, the infected host suffers any effects instead.

Infect Host. When a living creature comes into physical contact with an infected creature Fell Leprosy can attempt to infect the new creature. The creature must make a Constitution saving throw DC 15, becoming infected on a failure. The creature then suffers symptoms described in the Pathogen feature. Fell Leprosy can only infect a new creature once its host is suffering from stage 5 symptoms.

Pathogen. Fell Leprosy is a disease, it can only infect living creatures. Once infected a creature will suffer the following symptoms after failing the stated number of Constitution saving throws:

1 Heavy coughing and fatigue.
2 Dark spots form on skin.
3 Spots break out into large lesions that make movement painful. Movement speed is now halved.
4 A heavy fever dulls your reactions, causing disadvantage to all initiative rolls.
5 Maximum hit points are halved.
6 Short rests no longer provide any benefit, only long rests can restore hit points and   abilities.
7 Constantly gain one additional level of exhaustion.
8 Vulnerability to all damage sources.
9 Constantly gain two additional levels of exhaustion.
10 Death.

An Infected creature must make a Constitution saving throw after exerting their bodies, including but not limited to:

  • Regaining hit points via hit dice.
