Beast Traits Table
d10 | Beast Trait |
---|---|
1 | Climber's Grace: You gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed and advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks made to climb. |
2 | Aquatic Adaptation: You can breathe underwater and gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed. |
3 | Keen Senses: You gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight, hearing, or smell. |
4 | Pack Instincts: When an ally is within 5 feet of a creature you attack, you gain advantage on your first attack roll against that creature each turn. |
5 | Predator’s Agility: Your walking speed increases by 10 feet, and you can Dash as a bonus action. |
6 | Thick Hide: Your AC increases by 1 while you are not wearing heavy armor. |
7 | Nocturnal Vision: You gain darkvision out to 60 feet. If you already have darkvision, its range increases by 30 feet. |
8 | Venomous Strike: Once per short rest, when you hit with a melee weapon attack, you can deal an extra 2d6 poison damage. |
9 | Fearsome Roar: As an action, you can let out a terrifying roar. Each creature of your choice within 10 feet must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn. Once used, you can't use this again until you finish a short or long rest. |
10 | Rapid Regeneration: As a bonus action, you can spend one Hit Die to regain hit points. You can use this ability once per short or long rest. |
Primal Affinity
You can cast speak with animals once per long rest without expending a spell slot. When you cast the spell, you can communicate simple emotions or concepts with beasts even if they normally cannot understand you.
