Choose Arcana, History, Nature, or Religion. You gain proficiency in your chosen skill.
Once per day, as an action, you can go on a rant of random tidbits and crazy stories. This targets one creature within 120 feet, which must roll a Wisdom Save or be confused as per the spell Confusion until the end of your next turn as they contemplate the implications of what you’re saying. This is a language-dependent ability, and the target must be able to both hear and understand you.
Campaign Progression: You gain expertise on the previously chosen skill. In addition, if you spend at least 1 minute observing or interacting with another creature outside combat, you can learn certain information about its capabilities compared to your own. The DM tells you if the creature is your equal, superior, or inferior in regard to two of the following characteristics of your choice of Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma, or any Class levels (if any). At the DM's option, you might also realize you know a piece of the creature's history or one of its personality traits, if it has any.
