Prerequisite: Kitsune
As they age and grow in power, Kitsune hone their innate shapeshifting magic, allowing them to seamlessly disguise themselves or embody their true fox form.
As an action, you can magically transform into one of the following forms, or revert back to your Kitsune form:
- Humanoid Form: You magically alter your appearance and voice to resemble any humanoid you’ve seen before. This functions as the Change Appearance option of the Alter Self spell but does not require concentration. Your stats, abilities, and equipment remain unchanged.
- Fox Form: You Polymorph into a unique fox, gaining its stats while retaining your ability scores. Your hit points remain the same, your size becomes Small, and your equipment melds into your body, becoming unusable unless ruled otherwise by the DM.
You can reveal or conceal your tails in any form. Concealing them grants advantage on deception to hide your true nature or identity, while showing them is required to cast spells in fox form (Tails of Power unique Trait). You revert from humanoid form if you die.
