I Cast: Autism

It may not always be easy being a one-focus wizard or barbarian, but if some effects are detrimental, others can help tremendously in certain situations.

Autism can sometimes be portrayed negatively in the effects it can have on one person and/or their environment. But what some people see as detrimental also has some great advantages in day-to-day life.

As a bonus action and for one hour, you can, twice per Long Rest, choose of one of the following effects to focus your neurodivergent brain into a task:

Master of Masks. Hiding certain conditions or thoughts to the grand public is like a second-nature to you. For one hour, gain advantage in Deception. While that effect is active, gain disadvantage in Insight until you take a Long Rest.

Pattern Recognition. Your brain goes in directions and forms links the common people's can't. As such, and for one hour, you gain advantage on Investigation checks to link certain events together or solve a puzzle.

Absorb Knowledge. Until the end of the day, you gain expertise on all Intelligence checks made to absorb knowledge and render it on your Special Interest subject, that you would have determined at character creation with your DM. You can only use this feature once per Long Rest.

If you would like to use those effects more than twice per Long Rest, take one point of Exhaustion per extra use.
