This feat is intended to allow characters of all classes to utilize the mastery properties of their weapons.
Your training with weapons allows you to use the mastery properties of two kinds of weapons of your choice with which you have proficiency.
Whenever you finish a Long Rest, you can change the kinds of weapons you chose.

Posted Jun 30, 2025How did you create this? I'm trying to duplicate it but I can't create options with modifiers. I wanted to create dupliates so I can grab more than 2 WM. If you can, describe me how you created this homebrew, since options can only create Actions inside each Option.

Posted Jul 10, 2025I started by using the Core Rules feat "Weapon Master" as a template. I deleted the prerequisite and modifier, and then I changed the field for "Total Number of Feat Options User Can Select" from 1 to 2 (basing it off of the "Weapon Mastery" level 1 class feature for Paladins).
Just by looking at the page to edit the feat, it looks like it shouldn't do anything since it has nothing selected in the fields for prerequisites, options, modifiers, spells, actions, or creatures. However, because it used the "Weapon Master" feat as a template, the ability to select weapon masteries is still built into it.
I just did some testing, and you should be able to follow those steps but adjusting the value for "Total Number of Feat Options User Can Select" to whatever you want in your version of the feat so you can get more weapon masteries.

Posted Dec 6, 2025Would this be an origin feat? To replace Vicious Attacker of Soldier background?

Posted Dec 8, 2025If you wanted to use it like that you certainly could; though I'm not sure if D&D Beyond has a way to add a custom origin feat yet. I made this feat primarily just to get the icon in the character sheet to signify that I had mastery with a weapon (campaign where I'm playing a front-line Armorer Artificer and the DM let me gain mastery with my weapon).
