Aura of Vindication

Grief and self-loathing mixed with a sense of justice and community, this paladin has trouble controlling the eldritch powers that came from their pact.

In combat (once per turn), on a melee attack roll of 18, 19 or 20 (on the dice), add 1d6 force damage to the damage roll for each ally within 15 feet of the attacker, including the attacker themselves. Each ally, including the attacker, takes 1d6 force damage.

If there are no allies within 15 feet, this ability instead deals 1d12 force damage and the attacker takes 1d12 force damage.

This feat negates critical rolls in combat.

* anything that "makes crits 19 or 20" (ex: Hexblade Curse) brings this feat crit range to 17-20.
