Level 1 – The Spark of Olympus
(Granted at Character Creation, when Divine Mark is revealed)
Zeus' power awakens within you, manifesting as lightning in your blood and the charisma of a ruler.
- Gift of the Skyfather – You learn the Thaumaturgy cantrip and Shocking Grasp. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these.
- Stormborn Presence – You gain advantage on Charisma (Persuasion or Intimidation) checks when dealing with mortals who revere the gods.
- Lightning Resistance – You gain resistance to lightning damage.
- Static Discharge – When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can deal an extra 1d6 lightning damage once per turn.
Level 5 – Thunderous Authority
(Unlocked at 5th Level, when your legend spreads and you prove your divine might)
Your divine spark grows, granting you greater command over the storm and battlefield presence.
- Zeus’ Voice – Your voice booms with divine authority. You gain advantage on Intimidation checks, and your voice can be heard up to 300 feet away when you choose.
- Lightning Surge (Recharge on Short or Long Rest) – When you deal lightning damage, you can arc the lightning to another creature within 10 feet, dealing half the original damage to the secondary target.
- Storm Dash – When you take the Dash action, you can move without provoking opportunity attacks, as your body flickers with electrical speed.
- Sky’s Favor – You can now call down small bolts of lightning as a bonus action, dealing 2d6 lightning damage to a creature you can see within 30 feet (once per turn).
Level 10 – The Tempest Rises
(Unlocked at 10th Level, when your power rivals demigods and champions of the gods)
At this stage, you are recognized by the gods as a true storm-wielder. Your connection to the skies and the power of Zeus grows stronger.
- Avatar of the Storm (Recharge on Long Rest) – As a bonus action, you can surround yourself with crackling lightning and roaring thunder for 1 minute. While active:
- Your movement speed increases by 10 feet.
- When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can deal an additional 2d8 lightning damage.
- You gain immunity to lightning damage.
- Storm's Wrath – When you take lightning or thunder damage, you can use your reaction to unleash a burst of thunderous energy, forcing all creatures within 10 feet to make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or take 4d6 thunder damage.
- Summon the Gale – You learn Control Winds as an innate ability. You can use this once per long rest without expending a spell slot.
Level 15 – The Wrath of Olympus
(Unlocked at 15th Level, when your divine potential nears completion)
By this level, you are a living storm, commanding thunder, lightning, and the fury of the heavens.
- King of the Storm – As an action, you can summon a powerful storm within a 1-mile radius, lasting for 10 minutes. While this storm is active:
- All lightning damage you deal ignores resistances and treats immunities as resistances.
- Winds howl in a 120-foot radius, making ranged attacks at disadvantage.
- Thunder rolls every turn, forcing creatures of your choice within 60 feet to make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or be deafened for 1 minute.
- Call Down the Thunder (Recharge 1d6 on a Long Rest) – Once per long rest, you may summon a massive lightning bolt to strike a creature within 120 feet. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier) or take 12d10 lightning damage (half on a success). If the target is in contact with metal or water, it rolls at disadvantage.
Level 20 – The Stormlord’s Heir
(Unlocked at 20th Level, when your divine heritage is fully realized and you stand as a god among mortals)
At this stage, you are a force of nature, a true heir to Zeus, capable of harnessing the full power of the storm.
- Ascendance of the Stormlord (Recharge on a Long Rest) – You transform into a living avatar of Zeus for 1 minute, gaining the following benefits:
- You gain a fly speed of 100 feet.
- Your melee attacks now deal an additional 3d8 lightning or thunder damage.
- All creatures of your choice within 30 feet must make a Dexterity saving throw at the start of their turn or take 4d6 lightning damage.
- Whenever you take damage, the attacker takes 2d8 lightning damage in retaliation.
- The Final Judgment – Once per long rest, you can unleash Zeus’ Wrath, a cataclysmic bolt of divine energy.
- Every creature of your choice within a 120-foot radius must make a DC 27 Dexterity saving throw.
- They take 20d10 lightning damage on a failure or half as much on a success.
- Any creature reduced to 0 hit points by this attack is disintegrated, their soul sent to Olympus or the Underworld.
- Herald of the King of Gods – Zeus himself acknowledges you as his heir. You can now request his direct intervention once per campaign, summoning a divine tempest that lasts for 1 hour, affecting an entire region.
