Draconic Scale Plating

Calling upon your ancient draconic ancestors for protection, your scales embody a hardier hue as they form a second layer of defense to your body.
You gain an amount of Scale Plate charges equal to your proficiency bonus, which recharge on long rest.

You may use an action to expend a Scale Plate charge and accentuate your plated scales, gaining temporary hitpoints equal to twice your proficiency bonus. You receive +1 to your Armour Class until you lose all your temporary hitpoints or swap the temporary hitpoints for another source.
