Bloodline Growth: Vampiric Death Knights

When an Amethyst Vampire reaches level 10, their bloodline strengthens, enhancing their physical or mental attributes. For pure-bloods, this growth occurs naturally. For turned vampires, they must receive assistance from stronger vampires, usually through a blood transfusion or ritual.

Vampires who undergo this transformation and reach level 16 develop complete immunity to the effects of sunlight, no longer losing their regenerative abilities or needing sustenance during the day.

Vampiric Death Knights:

• These vampires focus on enhancing their physical prowess, taking the path of the Vampiric Death Knights.
• Ability Score Increase: Choose to increase either your Strength or Constitution by +2 and your Charisma or Dexterity by +1.
• Awakening of the Amethyst Wings: As a bonus action, you can summon a pair of ethereal Amethyst Wings. You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed for up to 1 hour. You can use this feature once per long rest.
  • Aerial Ferocity: When flying with your Amethyst Wings, if you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack while descending at least 10 feet, you deal an additional 2d6 force damage.
