Prerequisite: Must have been afflicted by a supernatural curse or willingly accepted a lycanthropic blessing
Blessing of the Armadillo
- Natural Armor: Your skin hardens, granting you an AC of 13 + your Constitution modifier when not wearing armor. You can still benefit from a shield.
- Burrowing Claws: Your claws are strong enough to burrow through soft earth and sand at a speed of 10 feet per round.
- Curled Defense (Reaction): When you are hit by an attack, you can use your reaction to curl part of your body into a hardened shell. Choose one:
- Partial Curl: Reduce the damage taken by 1d10 + your Constitution modifier.
- Full Curl: Become prone, but gain resistance to all non-magical damage until the start of your next turn. You cannot take reactions while curled.
Curse of the Armadillo
- Instinctive Roll: When frightened, stunned, or otherwise overwhelmed, make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, you involuntarily curl into a ball until the end of your next turn.
- Plated Skin: You gain vulnerability to bludgeoning damage due to the rigid nature of your transformations.
- Hunger for Insects: Once per long rest, you must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be compelled to eat whatever small creatures or insects you can find, regardless of the situation.
This affliction is difficult to remove. Even a Remove Curse spell only suppresses it for 24 hours unless cast at 9th level or higher.
