Divine Heroism

You accumulate stored energy from your valor in battle, allowing you to unleash extra damage at a time of your choosing.

To charge this ability, you must successfully defend an ally from an enemy attack, whether by intercepting, parrying, or otherwise preventing harm. Each successful defense increases the stored damage in the following sequence: 1d4 → 1d6 → 1d8 → 1d10 → 1d12.

The stored damage can be applied to any attack at your discretion. Any attempt to trigger this effect without legitimately defending an ally will fail.
