Your past lingers at the edges of your mind, granting you occasional flashes of knowledge or skills you don’t remember learning. Once per long rest, you can recall a useful piece of forgotten expertise. You can substitute any Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma-based skill check with a different skill proficiency you don’t have, as long as the DM agrees it fits within your unknown past (for example, suddenly remembering how to pick a lock or recite a noble lineage).
Additionally, people from your forgotten life may recognize you. Whether they are allies, enemies, or something in between is up to the DM.
