Prerequisite: Holding a shield
As a reaction you can throw your shield towards a creature when they are being attacked to aid in their defense.
The shield interferes with the attacker giving extra AC to the defense of the creature you are aiding.
You lose your shield until the end of your next round or if you use a bonus action to bring it back.
