"Pain lingers, but it does not break me. The dead whisper their strength into my bones, and I rise once more."
Those marked by the Curse of Vengeance or similarly dark fates possess an unnatural resilience, their bodies refusing to yield even in the face of fatal wounds. Whether by sheer willpower, spectral intervention, or the grim determination of unfinished business, they endure beyond the limits of ordinary mortals.
Effects:
- Enhanced Recovery: Whenever you roll Hit Dice to regain hit points during a short rest, you add an additional amount of hit points equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
- Bolstered Healing: When you regain hit points from a healing potion or a magical healing effect, you regain additional hit points equal to half your level (minimum of 1).
- Stalwart Endurance: If you are reduced to 0 hit points but not outright killed, you can make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw. On a success, you drop to 1 hit point instead. The DC increases by 5 each time you use this feature, resetting to 10 after completing a long rest.
- Death’s Shadow: You gain advantage on death saving throws, as the spirits bound to you refuse to let you pass easily.
- Unyielding Will: You have resistance to effects that would reduce your hit point maximum, such as life-draining attacks from undead or curses that sap vitality.
Roleplaying Applications:

- A sense of eerie stillness, even after suffering grievous injuries.
- A voice or presence whispering in their mind, compelling them to push forward.
- The sensation of an unseen force pulling them back from the brink of death.
